Associate of Science: Physical Therapist Assistant
Students will learn how to treat patients with a variety of procedures such as heat or cold application, electric stimulation, ultrasound and therapeutic exercise. Students will do both course work and clinical work that will prepare them for a career in rehabilitation services. Admissions requirements for this program require the approval of both the admissions department as well as the Physical Therapist Assistant Department.

Associate of Business Science: Sport Management
In this, program students learn the skills necessary to provide support and training in a variety of individual and group health and fitness situations. Students in this program will have a broad knowledge of the human body and learn healthy behavior, and stress management and wellness. Through hands-on experiences, students will develop strategies to enhance the well being and learn techniques to teach sport activities to a variety of age groups and fitness levels.

Diploma: Medical Assistant
This short-term (8-month program) will prepare students to become essential members of the medical team. Students will gain administrative and clinical skills, and be prepared to work in private practices, clinics, health maintenance organization, nursing homes or hospitals. The Hesser College Medical Assisting Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), on recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation for Medical Assistant Education.
