Graduate success stories
Clint Young, Class of 1995, The Art Institute of
Washington, Lead Artist at LucasArts
Clint manages a team of people who create characters, creatures,
and worlds for digital game play. His list of credits includes
modeler/animator, cut screen artist, and effects artist.
Jennifer Accomando, graduate of The Illinois Institute
of Art- Schaumburg, Design, Office and Showroom Manager,
CabinetWerks; an Orren Pickell Company
Jennifer started with CabinetWerks as a drafter, was then promoted
to a designer, and now supervises four teams of designers, drafters,
cabinet installers, and a showroom concierge. She credits The Illinois
Institute of Art - Schaumburg for providing the technical skills
that she needed to start her design career.
John Jensen, graduate of The Illinois Institute
of Art, Schaumburg Interactive Media Designer, Motorola
John currently develops media and animations for Motorola. John
started his career at Motorola as an intern and helped develop
his group's Intranet site, which in turn led to the launch of his
full-time career.
Michael Wood, Class of 1997, The Art Institute of
Colorado, Chef/Partner, Palettes (at the Denver Art Museum)
Wood creates menus four times a year for Palettes, a stylish Denver
restaurant serving contemporary, "artful" cuisine. Michael ensures
food quality and consistency, and hires and trains the staff. He
also markets the restaurant to the general public, and is responsible
for food and labor costs. |
